Benefitting Charities Through the Love of Cars

In 2020, a small group of car enthusiasts and local business owners came together to plan the first annual Kicks on 66 event. The car show was a wild success that exceeded our expectations and validated our vision to bring people together for their love of cars. Our mission became philanthropic when we realized we could raise money around our show's success and benefit local charities at the same time.

In 2021, we formalized our mission as a 501(c)3 organization, Route 66 Kicks, Inc. (NFP).

Our event is a tribute to Randy Gori, Edwardsville attorney, major car enthusiast and philanthropist, who died tragically in 2019. Randy was a good friend to many of us and regularly held car gatherings at his home. He was a generous contributor, dedicated to making our community a better place to live.  He continues to be sorely missed.

Our dedicated committee of volunteers work tirelessly to make our events enjoyable for everyone. In addition to the hundreds of cars on display and thousands of attendees, we have designed our event to make a major economic impact for local restaurants and hotels. Ultimately, our efforts allow us to donate substantially to other non-profit organizations, benefiting our community.
